WE ATE:
- hors d'oeuvres of fancy crackers and spinach dip
- fancy salad?
- lemon chicken and pasta
- chocolate fudge cake with ice cream
It was all delicious and mostly went off without a hitch, except for the part before anyone got there when Kate put wax paper in the oven on broil and our first floor filled with smoke and the fire alarms went off. It sounds worse than it actually was.
